Medicine originates from the Earth, just as water, land, oceans, and air are freely given by Mother Earth. While society has assigned value to what is naturally provided, the fundamental truth remains: everything that sustains us grows without cost. It is our duty to respect and safeguard these gifts, ensuring that everyone in need can access the healing and wisdom nature generously offers.
Knowing when to ask for help and when to give back is part of the sacred balance of life. There is no shame in receiving, just as there is no hesitation in giving when we are able. As we give, we receive love, support, and abundance flow in a continuous cycle. By honoring this exchange, we nurture a community built on trust, gratitude, and the understanding that we are all connected.
The energy exchange we receive is used to help others sit with the medicine, purchase medicine for veteran ceremonies, and sustain the land we call home so that what we receive, we may continue to give. Right now, we have pecan trees, wild sage, a tamarind tree, and a small herb garden. Our vision is to cultivate crops, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and nut trees, creating a thriving, self-sustaining sanctuary. We also hope to craft our own hygiene products and herbal medicines to support those in need, ensuring that our land continues to be a place of healing and generosity.
