We are looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to help hold space during our ayahuasca ceremonies. This is a profound opportunity to serve both the medicine and the participants, and in turn, experience healing and growth within yourself.
Sacred Service: By helping others through their journey, you will find that you, too, are healing. Holding space for participants is not just about assisting them—it’s a chance for you to deepen your connection to the medicine, yourself, and the collective energy. It’s through service that we find our own transformation.
• Team Unity: You’ll be part of a dedicated team working together to ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional support of all participants. The bonds formed during this work are deeply meaningful.
• Personal Growth: You’ll gain insights into your own journey as you support others, all while being a part of something much larger than yourself—a space of healing, transformation, and sacred connection.
Arrival: Volunteers are asked to arrive a day before the ceremony to gather, prepare, and align with the group. This allows us to set intentions together and ensure a smooth, centered experience.
• Before the Ceremony: Preparing the sacred space, setting up, and creating an environment that encourages peace, safety, and openness for the participants.
• During the Ceremony: Assisting participants with practical needs, such as guiding them to the bathroom, cleaning up after purges, and providing emotional and energetic support. Your presence is integral in maintaining a grounded and safe space.
• After the Ceremony: Helping with cleanup, supporting participants as they process, and holding space for integration.
While experience with ayahuasca ceremonies is beneficial, ceremony sitting experience is recommended, especially for those volunteering during our veteran weekend retreats. We want you to feel prepared to support others effectively, and previous experience will help you understand the depth of the space we’re creating together.
Commitment: If you commit to volunteering for a day or weekend ceremony, please ensure that you can fully be present and available for the entire duration. Your reliability and presence are essential to the smooth flow of the ceremony.
If you are called to serve the medicine, this is a powerful way to do so. Serving as a volunteer is a beautiful path of service, and we welcome those who feel ready to step into this sacred role.
